Inauguration of ICT center and The Online courses recording studio of Kabul University of Medical Sciences (Abu Ali Ibn Sina)
Acting minister of the Ministry of Higher Education inaugurated the ICT center and the online courses recording studio of Kabul University of Medical Sciences'(Abu Ali Ibn Sina).
Acting Minister and Deputy Minister of Academic Affair of Higher Education; Mr, Abdul Tawab Balakarzai inaugurated the ICT center and the recording studio online courses of Kabul University of Medical Sciences’, as well as the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) and the computer lab of Ali Abad teaching hospital in the presence of President of the Medical Sciences University, and Unit Heads of the Ministry of Higher Education. He also visited the Community college's labs and equipment.
At the ceremony held at the Kabul University of Medical Sciences, Acting Minister and Deputy Minister of Academic Affair of Higher Education; Mr, Abdul Tawab Balakarzai thanked to the (HEDP) office for Financial Cooperation, and called establishing of ICT center and online course recording studio a great achievement for this university and added:
“The recent activities and efforts of the leadership of Kabul University of Medical Sciences in various areas or fields, including improvement in the process of establishing an international journal of the Kabul University of Medical Sciences, are auspicious and other universities are also expected to take serious action in this regard”.
Mr. Balakarzai requested the academic members of the university to record their courses in a standard way in the studio and keep them accessible to all students and those interested in medical studies.
Mr. Balakarzai directed the professors of Kabul University of Medical Sciences and other officials of these institutions to make maximum use for the growth and development of the medical sciences, and they do not spare any effort in maintaining and the equipment of these centers.
During his visit to the ICU and computer Lab. of Aliabad teaching hospital, He instructed officials of hospital to have close attention in providing good health services to the patients.
Prof. Dr. Vahidullah Mohmand, Head of Kabul University of Medical Sciences (Abu Ali Ibn Sina), thanked the Ministry of Higher Education and Higher Education Develop program for their attention to this university, and requested chairmen and professors to better use the ICT center and the Lectures Recording Studio in optimizing health, promoting optimal medical quality and services for students.
Also, Shukria Jamal, Head of Information Technology at the Ministry of Higher Education, and Noor Ahmad Dorvish, Head of Higher Education Development Program, spoke about the significance of the issue and informed about establishment of 10 more ICT centers in provincial universities.
