The Acting Minister of Higher Education, along with his delegation, continued his official visit to the southeastern zone and attended a large gathering at Shaikh Zayed University, which was attended by the Governor of Khost Province, Mawlavi Abdulqayum Rohani, the Chancellor of Sheikh Zayed University, Sheikh-ul-Hadith Mawlavi Mohammad Naseem Haqqani, the  Chairman of Jihadi Madrasa, Sheikh-ul-Hadith  Mawlavi Afzal Hussain Hussaini, the Director of Student Services and Coordination at the Ministry of Higher Education, Kaleemullah Mohammadi, the university’s vice chancellors, deans of faculties, Khost province’s elders, teachers, staff and students.

In the meeting, the Acting Minister Sheikh-ul-Hadith Mawlavi Nida Mohammad Nadeem considered organizing seminars corrective programs for students during the winter break as a good opportunity and emphasized the importance of corrective training for students. He further added, "These students are the future leaders and should be knowledgeable and intelligent."

He also mentioned some verses from the Holy Quran related to human dignity, stating that human dignity can only be protected under the Islamic system. He addressed the teachers and said, "We and you are servants of this system, so let us all serve our nation’s children with sincerity in our respective fields, educate them through the proper Islamic way, and work hard to improve the quality of education."

Furthermore, the Governor of Khost, the Chancellor of Shaikh Zayed University, and other speakers discussed the development of education in Khost province.

In addition, the Acting Minister of Higher Education, along with the leadership of Shaikh Zayed University, inaugurated the projects of connecting the university to imported electricity at a cost of 10.5 million Afghanis and the installation of a water fountain and pool at the university's central square at a cost of over 280,000 Afghanis.

It is worth noting that during his visit, the Acting Minister of Higher Education also visited the teaching hospital of Shaikh Zayed University, where he listened to the concerns of the university’s officials, provided necessary guidance, and assured them of solutions.
