To raise awareness and implement the new payroll system in the Emirate's educational institutions and religious schools, a five-day workshop organized for several employees of the finance departments of these institutions.
This training workshop, held by the Directorate of Finance and Accounting of the Ministry of Higher Education in collaboration with the Ministry of Finance, was attended by several financial staff members from educational institutions and religious schools across different regions of the country.
At the very commencement of the ceremony, Mawlavi Hafiz Mohammad Hamed Hasib, Deputy Minister of Finance and Administration of the Ministry of Higher Education, spoke about the usage and importance of the payroll system (AFMIS) in educational institutions.
He expressed gratitude to the leaders of the Islamic Emirate, stating that implementing this system will bring greater speed, accuracy, and transparency in paying salaries to the staff of educational institutions and religious schools in the country. He also urged participants to make the most of this workshop and implement it in their respective institutions.
Following this, Abdul Bari Khpelwak, the Director of Finance and Accounting at the Ministry of Higher Education, noted that participants would receive theoretical and practical training on the new payroll system over the five days of the workshop, enabling them to implement it in their respective institutions. He added that the system is currently active in provincial revenue offices.
According to him, similar workshops will be organized for all educational institutions and religious schools of the Emirate in subsequent phases to implement the new payroll system.
