The Acting Minister of Higher Education addressed the employees of the ministry regarding the newly ratified decree about harmful traditions and the status of the Amir “Leader”

The Acting Minister of Higher Education, Honorable Sheikh ul Hadith Mawlavi Neda Mohammad Nadeem, addressed the directors, heads, managers, and service staff of the ministry in the main hall. He elaborated the newly ratified decree of the Esteemed Amir al-Mu’minin (may Allah protect him) regarding the prevention of harmful traditions in engagements, weddings, funerals, and returning from Hajj and Umrah. He also spoke about the status, rights, and responsibilities of the Amir “Leader”.
Furthermore, he stated that by preventing harmful traditions and implementing the newly ratified decree, many problems in our society can be resolved. Addressing the staff, he emphasized that we are all obliged to first apply this decree in our own lives and then encourage others to do the same.
“In Islam, appointing a Sharia-based leader is obligatory, as the fulfillment of other obligations depends on it. Now, we have an Islamic system and a rightful Amir “Leader”, and it is our duty to implement and obey his decree,” the acting minister said in his speech.
In addition to that, the acting minister discussed the appointment of the Amir “Leader”, his rights over the people, and his responsibilities according to Sharia.
“We are all obligated to implement the decrees of the Amir al-Mu’minin (may Allah protect him),” stated the acting minister.
It should not be left untold that the members of the leadership council of the ministry had previously held a consultative meeting on the proper implementation and enforcement of the newly ratified decree to prevent harmful traditions
